Your trailer log nuts were torqued to manufacturer recommended specifications. It is recommended that lug nuts are retorqued before every trip or every 100-150 miles. 

Torque Before Each Trip: Ensuring proper torque is crucial for safety.

  • Follow the Star Pattern: This guarantees even torque distribution across all lug nuts.
  • Reinstall Carefully: Anytime a wheel is removed from the axle/hub, follow the two-step process detailed in the Owner's Manual.
Torque specifications for different wheel sizes:

15 in: 110–120 lb-ft for a 6-5.5 in bolt circle

16 in (1/2 in stud): 110–120 lb-ft for a 6-5.5 in bolt circle

16 in (9/16 in stud): 125–130 lb-ft for an 8-6.5 in bolt circle

17.5 in (9/16 in stud): 125–130 lb-ft for an 8-6.5 in bolt circle
