Fits These Trailers

Direct replacement for 2,000 lb axles with BT8 spindle and 4 on 4"" bolt pattern. Common on PWC trailers, jet ski trailers, small utility trailers, and lightweight boat trailers. Compatible with Dexter, Carry-On, and most other trailer manufacturers.

BT8 vs BTR — Which Do You Have?

BT8 spindles use L44643 bearings (1.000"" ID). BTR spindles use L44649 bearings (1.063"" ID). Check the part number stamped on your bearing before ordering — the wrong bearing will not seat properly. If yours reads L44649, you need our 849-1292 kit instead.

When to Replace Trailer Bearings

Repack every 12 months or 12,000 miles. Replace immediately if you hear grinding, feel wobble, or notice a hot hub after towing. Bearing failure can lead to wheel separation — don't skip this maintenance.

Each kit services 1 hub. Order 2 per axle or 4 for tandem axle trailers.
