Buying Guide · Match the Tube
Match U-bolts to your axle tube
- Tube shape and size: round 2-3/8" (3.5K) or 3" (5.2–7K), or square — the U-bolt's inner width must match.
- Length: old bolt end-to-end, or tube + spring stack + tie plate thickness.
U-bolts are one-time-use — they stretch to spec when torqued. Replacing springs? Replace the U-bolts with them. See the spring measuring guide.
