Dump Trailer Solenoids & Hydraulic Valves

The 12V starter solenoid is the most common failure point on a dump trailer power unit — it takes the full motor load every cycle. We stock KTI-compatible solenoids, flow-control valves for gravity-down speed, and check valves, all tested against the pumps we service in our own Howell, MI shop.

How do I know the solenoid is the problem?

If the pump clicks but the motor does not spin — or runs only when you jump the posts — the solenoid is the usual suspect. Our pump-runs-but-nothing-moves guide walks the full test with a multimeter.

Bed drops too slowly?

That is the flow-control valve, and it is adjustable. See adjusting KTI gravity-down speed.
