How to Confirm You Have a 7,000 lb Axle
The 5,200–8,000 lb axles all share the same inner bearing (25580). The outer bearing tells you which axle you have:
- 15123 outer = 5,200–6,000 lb → use kit 849-5200 or 849-0005
- 14125A outer = 7,000 lb → this kit
7,000 lb axles also have 8-lug hubs and a 2.72"" OD dust cap.
Seal Size Note
This kit includes the 2.250"" ID seal (10-36). Some 7K axles use a 2.125"" ID seal. Measure your existing seal's inner diameter to confirm before installing.
Each kit services 1 hub. Order 2 per axle or 4 for tandem axle trailers.
