How It Works

The 10665 is a two-piece system. The polymer stem mounts to the door itself using the included screws. The rubber socket mounts to the trailer wall, door frame, or adjacent surface at the matching catch point. When the door opens to the desired position, the stem seats into the rubber socket and holds the door open firmly. The rubber socket absorbs the impact of the stem engaging — protecting both the door and the wall from damage — and releases with a gentle pull when you're ready to close.

The 10665 installs in approximately 15 minutes with a screwdriver — no special tools required:

• Mount the polymer stem to the door face using the included screws at the desired catch height
• Open the door to the desired hold-open position
• Mark and mount the rubber socket to the wall or door frame at the point where the stem contacts the surface
• Test the engagement — the stem should seat firmly into the socket and release with a light pull

Note: For hollow doors or walls without a stud behind the mounting point, use a butterfly anchor or pass-through bolt and washer for a secure installation. Mounting hardware for hollow applications is not included.

How many pieces come in the package?
The 10665 is sold as a single door holder set — one polymer stem, one rubber socket, and mounting screws. Order one per door you need to hold open. Volume packs of 4, 5, and 8 are also available if you need to outfit multiple doors.

Will this work on a hollow trailer door?
