The standard mid-capacity chrome hitch ball for Class III and IV trailer applications. This Draw-Tite 63847 features a 1" diameter shank that is 2-1/8" long — the correct shank for ball mounts rated at 7,500 lbs GTW with a 1" hole. Solid cold-forged steel construction with chrome plating for corrosion resistance. Built-in hex wrench flats for easy installation without a strap wrench. Lock washer and hex nut included.

🔧 Installation Notes
- Verify your ball mount hole is 1" diameter and rated for 7,500 lbs GTW minimum
- Ball mount thickness must be between 3/8" and 7/8"
- Install lock washer between ball mount underside and hex nut
- Torque hex nut to 250 ft-lbs using a 1-1/2" socket
- Inspect torque before every tow
⚠️ Note: This ball has a 1" shank diameter — do NOT use in a 1-1/4" hole without a bushing. For 1-1/4" shank applications see part #19286 (12,000 lb). Always confirm coupler size (2-5/16") and ball mount capacity before installing.
