PMI Marine D113 Marine Grade Adhesive — 1 Gallon | Pontoon Boat Flooring Glue

The PMI Marine D113 (TAC 776) Marine Adhesive is a water-based, non-solvent contact adhesive specially formulated for bonding woven vinyl flooring, marine carpet, and similar materials to marine-grade plywood and aluminum pontoon decks. The same formula PMI Marine has used in production for over 30 years.

Thicker than standard roll-on adhesives — applies more product per stroke, bonds more aggressively, and doesn't telegraph brush marks through thin flooring material. One gallon covers approximately 96 square feet (12' × 8') of deck space.

• 18' pontoon (approx 135 sq ft deck) → 2 gallons
• 20' pontoon (approx 150 sq ft deck) → 2 gallons

• 24' pontoon (approx 180 sq ft deck) → 2 gallons

We recommend purchasing one extra gallon as a buffer — leftover sealed adhesive stores well.

The D113 formula is intentionally viscous — it doesn't run, sag, or spread too thin on a warm deck. Roll-on adhesives marketed for marine use are often too watery, leading to thin spots, bond failures, and flooring that lifts at the edges. D113 stays where you put it.

✔ Water-Based — Non-Solvent

Safe to use in enclosed spaces without the fume concerns of solvent-based contact cements. Clean up uncured adhesive with water. No special ventilation requirements for normal use.

✔ Works With Woven Vinyl and Marine Carpet

Bonds the HD felt backing on PMI Marine's woven vinyl flooring and standard marine carpet to plywood or aluminum decking. Ideal companion product to the Gray SeaGrass and other PMI woven vinyl flooring.

✔ 1/8" V-Notch Trowel Application

Apply with a 1/8" V-notch trowel for the optimal adhesive ridges that collapse under the flooring and create full-coverage contact. Do not roll flat — the ridges are critical for maximum bond strength.
