A sloppy, wobbling crank handle on a square sidewind jack almost always traces back to a worn handle shaft bushing. The RAM TJD-7000S-BU is the factory replacement bushing for TJD-7000S Series square, direct-weld sidewind jacks — it presses into the jack housing, supports the handle shaft, and lets the crank turn true instead of flopping around and chewing up the housing.

Catch a worn bushing early and it is a few-dollar fix. Let it go and the shaft wallows out the jack housing itself, which turns a small repair into a whole new jack.

⚠️ Sold Individually — Most Jacks Use Two

This listing is for one (1) bushing. A sidewind jack carries a bushing on each side of the handle shaft, and they wear at about the same rate. If you are rebuilding the handle assembly, order quantity 2 so you are not back in there next season.

🔧 Fits These Jacks

Designed for RAM TJD-7000S Series square, direct-weld sidewind jacks — 7,000 lb lift capacity / 8,000 lb support capacity. It is also the correct lower flange bushing for the RAM 8,000 lb square jack, since the 8000 Series shares the TJD-7000S body.

💡 Note: this is the 7K/8K bushing. The larger 12,000 lb TJD-12000 Series jacks use a different handle shaft assembly — if your jack is a 12K, you want the TJD-12000-SHABUS handle shaft kit with brass bushings instead.
