Splined Straight-Shank 9/16"-18 × 3" Shackle Bolt

The TruRyde® 1181 is a splined straight-shank shackle bolt with a full 9/16" shank and 9/16"-18 fine thread. The serrations under the hex head bite into the shackle bracket on installation, locking the bolt against rotation during torque and preventing loosening from road vibration.

🔍 Which shackle bolt do I need? There are four common 9/16" shackle bolts for trailer suspensions. Measure your existing bolt carefully — these are NOT interchangeable:

• This one (854-1181): Splined head, full 9/16" straight shank, 9/16"-18 thread, 3" long, non-greasable
• 854-1182 / FA-7-17: Same bolt, different length (3-1/2" version)
• FA-7-126: Step-down bolt — 9/16" shoulder narrows to 7/16"-20 thread (different thread, different nut)
• FA-7-187: Greasable wet bolt version of FA-7-126 (step-down with grease zerk)

Double-check thread pitch AND whether the thread diameter matches the shank diameter before ordering.
