Will it fit?
Cargo control parts are rated by working load limit (WLL) — total restraint should meet or exceed half your cargo weight forward and full weight rearward under DOT rules. Recessed anchors need clearance below deck; surface-mount parts need solid frame backing. Full walkthrough: How to load a trailer correctly.
How many tie-downs do I need?
DOT requires cargo secured against movement in every direction — practically, a minimum of 4 points for any machine or vehicle, rated so combined WLL covers the load. The loading guide covers the 60/40 rule too.
What's the difference between WLL and breaking strength?
Breaking strength is failure point; WLL is the rated safe load (usually 1/3 of breaking). Always size by WLL.
