Steel backing plate designed to mount behind Kampco single-axle trailer fenders on 32" fender applications. The backing plate closes the open area behind the fender, blocking road debris and water spray from hitting cargo or the trailer frame, while reinforcing the fender mounting area to reduce flex and vibration. 14-gauge rolled steel — heavier than the 16-gauge tandem versions — ships unfinished for field painting or powder coating.
