How to Measure Your Trailer Fender

When replacing a trailer fender, measure these three important dimensions.

1. Fender Length

Measure from the front edge of the fender to the rear edge.

For this model:

72 inches total length

This length should cover both wheels on your tandem axle trailer.

2. Fender Width

Measure the top flat section across the fender.

For this fender:

9 inches wide

A good rule:

Fender width = tire width + 1–2 inches

Example:
