The Kampco A8517 is a smooth .90 aluminum teardrop-style fender flare designed for tandem axle enclosed cargo trailers. Features a single-radius profile with a rounded teardrop front edge and a flat 90° back leg with a 3/4" exposed mounting lip. Not pre-drilled — fits left or right side. Sold individually.

Constructed from .090 aluminum — significantly thicker than the standard .063 factory thickness on most OEM trailer fenders. The added thickness reduces vibration cracking, eliminates flex, and produces a noticeably more rigid and durable fender that holds its shape over years of road use.

Most enclosed trailers ship from the factory with .063" aluminum fender flares. Kampco's A8517 is built to .090" thickness — over 40% thicker than standard. In practice this means:

• Crack resistance — vibration cracking at the mounting holes is one of the most common failure modes on thin factory fenders; heavier gauge aluminum significantly reduces this
