How to Measure Your Trailer Fender (Before Ordering)

Replacing a trailer fender requires a few simple measurements to ensure the correct fit.

1. Measure Fender Length

Measure from the front edge of the fender to the rear edge.
For this fender: 72 inches total length
This measurement should cover both wheels on your tandem axle trailer.

2. Measure Fender Width

Measure the flat top surface across the fender.
For this model: 10 inches wide
Your fender should be 1–2 inches wider than the tire width.

3. Measure Fender Height (Radius)

Measure from the trailer mounting surface to the top of the fender arch.
Typical height for 72" tandem fenders: about 20 inches
You should have at least 3–4 inches of clearance above the tire to allow for suspension movement when loaded.
