Quick diagnosis (from the KTI troubleshooting guide): most power-unit problems are electrical.
- Motor not running → check voltage at the start solenoid while pressing the remote button, then check power at the DC motor.
- Clicking but no crank → usually voltage drop: verify battery charge and cable gauge (see table in the install PDF).
- Battery terminal nuts torque to 3 ft-lbs — hold the lower nut while torquing.
