π Brake Assemblies & Hubs β Get the Right One
Brake assemblies are handed β left-hand and right-hand brakes are NOT interchangeable. Order the matching pair for your axle. Common sizes for 3.5K axles: 10" Γ 2-1/4". For 7K axles: 12" Γ 2".

Buying Guide Β· Measure First
Measure these two things before ordering
- Brake size: drum inner diameter Γ shoe width β 7Γ1ΒΌ" (2K axles), 10Γ2ΒΌ" (3.5K), 12Γ2" (5.2β7K). It's cast into most backing plates.
- Bolt pattern: count the studs, then measure center-to-center (5 on 4Β½" and 5 on 5" are the common ones).
Brakes grabbing, dragging, or dead on one side? The brake magnet diagnosis guide and adjustment guide solve most of it without parts. Full component map: axle anatomy guide.
π± Not sure what you have? Text a photo to 517-225-1991 β greasy, worn, no label, doesn't matter. We match parts from photos all day.
