The KTI KWR-007 is the most advanced wireless hydraulic controller in KTI's KWR remote series. If you've been running a KWR-005 or older KWR-003 and you need more functionality — this is the upgrade.

Unlike the KWR-005 (2-function, double-acting only) and the KWR-008 (3-button, double-acting only), the KWR-007 handles 4 functions across BOTH double-acting AND single-acting (gravity-down) hydraulic circuits — all through one controller with a 6-pin connector. It's the right remote for newer KTI power units using circuit 215, and the only wireless option if your pump is a gravity-down design.

Rule of thumb: If your trailer was built within the last few years and uses a 6-pin pump harness, the KWR-007 is the correct remote. If your pump is older with a 4-pin connector and power-up/power-down only, the KWR-005 is the more economical match. 💡 Pro Tips — Installation & Pairing

• Mount the receiver in a sealed enclosure, away from the pump motor and heat. Mount the antenna OUTSIDE the enclosure, as high as possible for best range.
• Power connections: Red (+) to battery positive via the included 15A fuse; Black (-) to battery negative. Ground the power unit directly to the negative battery terminal.
• Bluetooth pairing passcode: 123456 (no quotes)
• Download the KTI Bluetooth app (free on iOS App Store or Google Play) to pair, monitor battery voltage, and configure the system.
• App permissions required: Bluetooth, Location, Camera (used to scan the QR code on the KWR unit for quick pairing).
• Test function first with the handheld pendant before operating via wireless remote to ensure the pump and electrical circuit are healthy. Then move to wireless.

❓ FAQ

I have a 4-pin pump. Can I still use the KWR-007?
Generally no — the KWR-007 is designed for the newer 6-pin connector. If your pump is 4-pin, either the KWR-005 (2-function) or KWR-008 (3-button) is the correct choice. Call 517-225-1991 and we'll help you pick.

Does this replace the corded/wired remote (395-55)?
It can, but most installations keep both — the corded pendant as a reliable backup if the wireless loses signal or the battery dies. Adding wireless doesn't remove the wired connection.

How many controllers can I pair?
Up to 4 key fobs plus phone app access — ideal for crews, multi-operator setups, or keeping a spare fob in the truck.

What's the battery life on the key fob?
The fob uses a standard 23AE 12V battery. Expected life is 1+ years under normal use. The app and fob both show battery warnings when power is low.

Range seems short — what helps?
Mount the antenna OUTSIDE any metal enclosure, as high as possible. Metal boxes significantly reduce range. A proper antenna location typically delivers the full 30-40 ft.

Can I buy just the key fob replacement?
