Remove the jack's top cap and old roll pins, then the worn gears. Clean the internal surfaces, inspect the bearing and threaded rod, pack the new gears with high-pressure lithium grease, align the gear teeth, and drive in the new roll pins. Verify the crank spins freely before applying load.
